Configuring Audio Extraction Bitrate
- Navigate to the main menu and select Options (or Settings).
- Go to the Conversion tab.
- Locate the Audio section and select the desired output format (e.g., MP3, FLAC, M4A).
- Adjust the Bitrate setting (e.g., 320 kbps for high-quality MP3) to optimize the audio fidelity of the extracted stream.
Why: Adjusting the audio bitrate is critical. It balances file size and sound quality during audio extraction from a video stream. A higher bitrate provides better fidelity but results in a larger file size.
Handling Secure Streams (HTTPS/RTMP)
- Open the Options menu and select Network or Advanced Settings.
- Ensure that the Use Proxy or Secure Stream settings are correctly configured.
- For advanced protocols like RTMP (supported in the Ultimate version), verify the stream capture method is set to Automatic or Manual URL to ensure the full video segment is captured, not just the initial buffer.
